According to KickOff, Makhaula suffered a serious injury in Tuesday’s 3-0 win over Golden Arrows. The injury could see him play again for Orlando Pirates next season.
“The side’s bad injury fortunes have seemingly stuck like glue as midfielder Makhehlene Makhaula became the latest casualty,” the report said.
“He had to be substituted in the second half and was in visible discomfort whilst helped off the field. At full-time, the veteran was spotted in a moon boot, signalling that the injury is likely to be more than a minor knock and could keep him out of action for several weeks,” the outlet added.
