Orlando Pirates will cut ties with midfield anchor Miguel Timm when the current campaign comes to an end.
ORLANDO PIRATES SHOW TIMM THE DOOR
The South African website has it on good authority that Timm will not form part of the Pirates squad next term.
His contract is coming to an end in June, and having already struggled for game time, Pirates decided to let him go.
As reported on this website, Pirates have already secured the services of Masindi Nemtajela from Marumo Gallants.
Nemtajela is seen as a direct replacement for the departing Timm, who has been with the Sea Robbers for three seasons.
He will, however, have to do deal with stiff competition from Makhehlene Makhaula for that central midfield role.
Makhaula has been a rock for Pirates in that midfield this season, and he has already agreed to stay on.
Timm, 33, is yet to feature for Pirates in the league this season but he did play two matches in the CAF Champions League.
Overall, Timm has played 66 matches for the Buccaneers since joining them from Marumo Gallants.
