From twenty-two league appearances last season to zero this campaign, Orlando Pirates midfielder Miguel Timm has well and truly fallen out of the pecking order.
The thirty-three-year-old, whose contract runs out at the end of the season, is rumoured to be exiting the club in the offseason, making Timm a free agent – several PSL clubs will likely compete for the former Maritzburg United man.
Is Mofokeng leaving at the end of the season?
Relebohile Mofokeng has been the shining light in Orlando Pirates’ impressive 2024/25 season display, coming up clutch on several occasions, from the Champions League to the MTN8 Cup.
His talents have outsiders monitoring the 20-year-phenom – Bafana coach believes he will be scooped up at the end of the season.
“Talking about Mofokeng, I just hope that he makes the right decisions. And that he is not going to a team where he won’t play,” Broos suggested to iDiski Times.
“I see all the things around, Barcelona and Rangers and… (sighs) I’m a little bit afraid. I just hope that the people around make the choice of the best sportive solution and not the best financial solution.”
“Okay, I think his parents want the best for him, that’s for sure. But there is another guy who wants to win a lot of money also, but that’s the problem. But ok, let’s hope, maybe I talked too soon about that,
“We’ll see. I think in June, Rele will not be a player of Orlando Pirates anymore, but a good choice is very important.”
Should Orlando Pirates let Timm leave?
