Pirates took former Chippa star Siphelele Luthuli on trial after he was released and clubless at the start of the season. According to to KickOff.com, The Sea Robbers are impressed enough to sign him on a permanent deal. The 29-year-old is versatile in midfield, capable of playing at the base of a diamond if necessary but his preference is to play closer to a striker.
“Luthuli is still training with Pirates. He is a good player. He has done well so far. It looks like the club is preparing to sign him in January,” said a source close to the club, to the same publication.

One player who could be moving in the other direction is impressive 24-year-old central defender Thabiso Sesane. The Bucs youth product has been in exceptional form for his club this season. With Thapelo Xoki and Olisah Ndah injured, the young centre-back has impressed keeping several clean sheets this season. So far, he has played eight league matches for Orlando Pirates this season and has hardly put a foot wrong.
According to Soccer Laduma, the Buccaneers have set a price tag of R25 million on their star.
