An old clip featuring Siya Kolisi jokingly comparing Rachel Kolisi’s chicken butter curry to Somizi Mhlongo’s has set tongues wagging.

SIYA PREFERS SOMIZI’S COOKING

Siya and Rachel have been in the news since they announced on Tuesday that their marriage had ended. As you know the internet doesn’t forget, hence, social media users have been digging up clips and images featuring the pair to try to piece together what might have caused their separation.

While the reason behind their split remains unclear, the couple described it as amicable following open discussions. Nonetheless, this hasn’t prevented social media users from discussing their marital issues.

In a widely shared clip from Somizi’s show “Dinner at Somizi’s,’ the media personality had prepared a chicken butter curry for Kolisi and playfully asked him whose curry was more delicious, his or Rachel’s.

As Siya contemplates his response, Somizi humorously suggests they speak in IsiZulu since Rachel won’t understand it and thus won’t catch what they’re discussing. In response, Siya says Somizi’s chicken butter curry is better than Rachel’s.
