After a recent hiatus from the world of entertainment, the renowned gospel singer Ntokozo Mbambo is set to make her comeback with a long-awaited return to the stage.
Last year, the singer’s management team released a statement revealing that she would be stepping away from her role as a performer to focus on prioritising her health.
This came after she previously also captivated the nation after performing her rendition of the South African National Anthem, Nkosi sikelel’ Afrika, during the Springboks’ second test match against Ireland in Durban.
Meanwhile, rumours later emerged that the singer was pregnant and was expecting her third child. This was recently confirmed to be true when she shared a picture of her child on Instagram, introducing her new addition to the family to the world, along with the caption, which read, “2024 Has been a great year.”
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. James 1:17.”
Recently, she also shared some pictures of her baby shower.
With her baby now fully accustomed to the outside world, the Jahova is Your Name singer has been announced as one of the headlining acts to perform alongside Dr Tumi at a gospel concert set to take place at the Big Top Arena at Carnival City in Ekurhuleni on March 16.
The news was confirmed by the founder of Thiko Events, Richard Ramudzuli.
In an interview with TshisaLive, he stated:
“The Gospel Concert aims to celebrate gospel music and its extraordinary impact on culture and the lives of our people. Now doing it with the biggest names in South African gospel music such as Ntokozo Mbambo, Dr Tumi, Bucy Radebe and Rofhiwa Manyaga is a landmark.”
