Celebrity chef and TV personality Lorna Maseko’s cooking skills have been questioned by many people online.
This comes after entertainment commentator Mlu Mbokazi revealed on X that Maseko has partnered with local airline South African Airways (SAA) to create the airline’s menu for this fiscal year.
Mzansi has since criticised her cooking skills, with some feeling that she doesn’t deserve the gig.

Renowned celebrity chef Lorna Maseko has landed a major gig to curate the South African Airways (SAA) menu for the year.
Maseko, renowned for her talent in cooking and creating unique dishes, announced the news via her Instagram account. She revealed that her menu would cater exclusively to business class passengers.
She explained that her dishes are inspired by her Tswana roots, along with Pan-African flavours that celebrate the beauty and diversity of the continent.
“Proud to announce my partnership with @flysaa to create a menu for this fiscal year! Rooted in my culture as a Motswana and inspired by Pan-African flavours, these dishes celebrate the beauty of our continent. Flying in business class? Enjoy comfort & absolute deliciousness,” she shared.

Following her announcement, blogger Mlu Mbokazi shared the news on X, which sparked mixed reactions.
Tweeps have criticised Maseko’s cooking abilities, questioning whether she is the right person for the job.
