Muvhango actress Liteboho Molise has recently had a deep reflection on her life both before and after her divorce from her ex-husband, while also providing valuable advice to women on the journey towards marriage.

Liteboho, best known for her role as Tebogo Mukwevho on the SABC2 soapie, decided to divorce her polygamous husband Thabo Twala in 2021. At the time, news and entertainment publication The South African, reported that the couple had been living separately for at least three years before making the drastic decision after she had discovered that he had still been married to two other women named, Mpho and Kate.

This came to her attention after online users questioned her about being a home wrecker since he was married to both women at the time.

The Limpopo-born actress recently made an appearance on Pasi Koetle’s podcast, where she candidly spoke about the ordeal, emphasising the need for women to know their identity before heading into marriage.

She claims knowing who she was before tying the knot has been beneficial when things went south in her own marriage.

“It will help you stay strong. It will help you in times of turbulence because you know yourself, understand whether the marriage is working or not.”

She added that navigating life post-divorce was something she needed to adjust to very fast.

“I think it was hard because I had no time to sit and breathe. I needed to survive and to survive for this child.”

Despite this she shared that becoming a single parent was not much of a shift as Thabo was not a present father in any case. This has allowed her to focus her attention solely on their child and her career.
