RELEBOHILE MOFOKENG’S PROMISE: MORE THRILLS FOR ORLANDO PIRATES FANS

His impressive form with Orlando Pirates and the national team has attracted European clubs. In 2023, he made headlines when he joined English Premier League outfit Wolves for trials.

Since joining the senior squad from the academy, Relebohile Mofokeng has quickly become one of the most followed and celebrated Orlando Pirates players.

With several clubs monitoring his situation, fans back home have urged his agent to strike a European deal.

Against the trends, the Orlando Pirates star recently shared photos of his close family and those of himself before fame.

However, one of the photos had a lengthy caption, which inspired South Africa. Relebohile Mofokeng said he still has more to show on the pitch.

Part of the caption reads, “I can say people are still yet to see the best of Rele ‘haro sheba Messi sware.’

Soccer fans were quick to give him a nod. Since going viral online, the posts have undoubtedly gained thousands of comments and reactions.

Popular football blog Mzansi Football also shared the photos on Facebook.

Relebohile Mofokeng’s age recently set social media abuzz. The 20-year-old was born on 23 October 2004 in Sharpeville, South Africa.

CAREER

The 20-year-old star started his youth career with Transnet School of Excellence. A few months ago, he topped trends after his photos of him wearing a Mamelodi Sundowns jersey went viral.

However, The South African established earlier this year that Relebohile Mofokeng played for a team that wore a Mamelodi Sundowns jersey.

He once played for Amandl/Vaal Juventus FC—before joining Orlando Pirates. In 2022, he joined Orlando Pirates Youth Academy, and a year later, he was promoted to the senior team.

Since then, he has won big and become the club’s poster boy. In 2023, he hogged headlines after having trials with English Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves)

Several European clubs are said to be closely monitoring him.
