One of mzansi’s top singing talents, Moonchild Sanelly have officially taken her music to new heights and football has become her target.

Known for her vibrant attire and distinctive hairdos, the 39-year-old singer, Saneliswa Twisha has been a musical revelation on the local and international musical scene and after years of keeping some of her most loved fans moving to the rhythm of her music, she has now earned the right to have two of her songs feature in the EA Sports FC 25 soundtrack.

This is fantastic news for South African gamers, who will now get to listen to home-grown talent while showing some sleek skills on the popular footballing game.

Speaking to the news and entertainment publication, Daily Sun she revealed that although she had been informed about the opportunity by her global team, she was just as surprised to hear that two of her songs, Gwara Gwara and Big Man have been selected.

“I didn’t know the magnitude of the EA Soundtrack and when I found out, I was amazed” she told the publication.

“The thing with my career is that there are so many surprises that we never really get to be shocked. This one, I walked in on my managers in Africa doing the contract with the global team. But this time around, I realised this was wild and it’s super cool.”

She told the publication that her plan was always to push herself locally first before taking her music globally.

“I’ve always known my art is not limited to one space.”

Earlier this month she announced the news of her brand-new album, Full Moon, which will be released in 2025. Additionally, she will also be planning tours in the UK and Ireland.
