MISS SA SUPPORTS BEAUTY QUEEN
Mia le Roux’s video comes after TikTok user @queenlyview revealed that she couldn’t keep up with the music and dance routines at Miss Universe competition.
“I’m supposed to be able to follow music, which I can’t do it. Like other people who have cochlear implants, who dance they’ve had practice, they’ve learned a different way to follow,” said Le Roux.
“When I tried to practice with all the girls, everyone was very loud and talking and I couldn’t follow. It was a lot. I felt inadequate,” says Le Roux in the video.
Miss SA supported Le Roux after she withdrew from the Miss Universe competition this past week and revealed that she’s shown “incredible courage throughout this difficult period”.
