The road to the finale is underway, as the top five finalists of Big Brother Mzansi season 5 has been unveiled.

After 10 weeks in the house and 24 housemates later, Uyanda Hlangabezo, Karabo Sejojo popular as Jojo, Fortunate Setwaba popularly known as Nate, Nsuku Mabunda and Akhonamathemba Mbele better known as Sweet Guluva emerged as the finalists and are still on the run for the grand prize.

Starting with the reigning Head of House (HOH), Uyanda is currently the only housemate in the Big Brother house that is representing Eastern Cape. He is a 24-year-old pedagogical practitioner from Gqeberha. He describes himself as a man with a positive aura, fun, entertaining, and honest. He believes he has all that it takes to win the show.

 

 

Free state has the energetic Jojo, who is a 22-year-old entrepreneur who lives in Bloemhof. Jojo loves reading, editing videos, and trading. Jojo showed her strengths in the house by becoming the first female HOH, and she is known for her soothing singing voice. She describes herself as: “JoJo is a Pastor’s kid, so being around different personalities is no challenge.”

Flying the Limpopo flag high is Nate. The 26-year-old queer girl from Turfloop currently lives in Johannesburg, where she practices as a medical orthotist and make up artist, entrepreneur and digital content creator. She describes herself as: “I consider myself very funny, I like dark humour and practically bathe in it.”

Another Limpopo native in the house, is the 29-year-old Nsuku. She is a project management student in Johannesburg, and she is an aspiring actress. Nsuku is one of the straight talkers in the house, and she describes herself as: “My love for the truth drives me to speak honestly, even when it may be uncomfortable for others.”

Last but not least, Sweet Guluva represents KwaZulu Natal (KZN). The multi-talented student who currently resides in Cape Town, was crowned as the first HOH of the house. Sweet Guluva came across as a strong competitor in the house, as he has accumulated the most monetary prizes from winning games and competitions. He describes himself as a bubbly and open-minded human being, and a person of value and respect.
