Mbuyiseni Ndlozi’s career in radio appears to be off to a good start. Recently, the former Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) spokesperson kicked off a brand-new chapter in his career by venturing into the radio industry as one of the new recruits of Power FM.
In a statement, the station previously revealed that as someone who has spent a lot of time in political circles, they wish to take full advantage of his experience by allowing him to engage in thought-provoking conversations that will challenge the listeners but also change the face of social commentary in South Africa.
With this marking the first week behind the microphone, Mbuyiseni recently found it fitting to reverse the roles by interviewing the lady who gave him his first big interview during his childhood years – the former Morning Live presenter Tracy Going.
The pair first met in 2002, when a much younger Mbuyiseni was awarded the Young Communicators Award.
It was this exact prize that became extremely beneficial, setting him up for the life he now lives. He used the money to invest in his future and further his studies at university.
The two reflected on some of the highlights of that interview, while Tracy later offered him some valuable advice on his latest venture.
Taking to Instagram, Mbuyiseni shared a throwback picture highlighting how much things have changed over the years.
In the post, he captioned, “A heartwarming reunion with the legendary Tracy Going on #PowerTalk. What a privilege and humbling moment.”
