A man accused of crashing his vehicle through the gates of Jennifer Aniston’s Bel Air home has been charged with felony stalking and vandalism, Los Angeles prosecutors confirmed on Thursday.
Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, 48, of New Albany, Mississippi, allegedly began harassing the Friends star in March 2023, sending her unwanted voicemail, email, and social media messages.
On Monday afternoon, he reportedly drove his grey Chrysler PT Cruiser through the front gate of Aniston’s home, causing major damage.
Aniston, 56, was at home during the incident.

A security guard intervened on the driveway and detained Carwyle until police arrived and arrested him, according to the LAPD.
Prosecutors have added an aggravating circumstance of the threat of great bodily harm.
Carwyle is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, and if convicted, he faces up to three years in prison.
District Attorney Nathan Hochman condemned the act, saying: “Stalking is a crime that can quickly escalate from harassment to dangerous, violent actions.”
Aniston has not publicly commented on the incident, and no injuries have been reported.
She previously dealt with a similar case in 2010, obtaining a restraining order against another stalker.
