Masandawana won 1-0 at a sold-out Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium thanks to a stunning first-half strike by Lucas Ribeiro Costa.
The goal was Costa’s 12th of the season to extended his lead in the race for the Golden Boot.
Matches in hand
Mamelodi Sundowns moved a yawning 18 points clear of closest rivals Orlando Pirates, although the Buccaneers do have five matches in hand.
They will be in action later on Saturday against Marumo Gallants in Bloemfontein.
Kick-off is at 17:45.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs stayed eighth in the standings, a full 29 points behind Mamelodi Sundowns, although the Glamour Boys have played one fewer match.
