Orlando Pirates FC have some big decisions to make in the coming weeks as host of key players will see their contracts run out at the end of the season.

Star goalkeeper Sipho Chaine and hard-working midfielder Makhehlene Makhaula have reportedly done enough to secure new contracts at the club.

The same however cannot be said for two of the club’s fan-favourites!

According to the latest gossip from Mayfair, the club are undecided over the duo’s future and they face the real possibility of being released come June 2025!

Two Orlando Pirates stars face nervy wait

According to reports, Miguel Timm and Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo’s futures at Orlando Pirates is far from sealed!

“It’s hard for the team to make the decisions now. For Sipho (Chaine) and Makhehlene (Makhaula) it looks not that difficult,” an insider told Soccer Laduma.

“The main issue is with the others. You know Timm they just gave him one year in July this year and it seems they are not ready to renew it again. With Ndlondlo the competition in his position together with Timm is what is making it difficult.

“Of course they want to keep Sipho Chaine and Makhaula and both have been offered new contracts already though nothing has been finalised at the moment. That’s the headache the team is facing. Orlando Pirates are sweating over who they will keep and who they will release. But they are working on that.”

Should Pirates hold on to Timm and Ndlondlo?
