From Mamelodi Sundowns to Orlando Pirates, there’s plenty of transfer news surrounding the PSL’s top clubs.

Lucas Ribeiro Costa is arguably the league’s best player with thirty-seven goals and assists in fifty-five games for the Brazilians, showcasing his versatile ability to pass and score.

All good things must come to an end and their seems to be a growing inevitability that this will be the case for Ribeiro’s future at Sundowns as Europe come’s calling.

Ribeiro interest

Similarly to Pirates, Sundowns have several European suitors hoping to poach their players.

“What I can tell you is that there is a Championship club in England that is interested in Lucas [Ribeiro Costa],” a Siya source stated.

“They have inquired about him and they are not the only club that have inquired about him. His performances have not gone unnoticed as even his former club in Belgium (Beveren) has asked about him. There is a lot of interest in him.”

“Although there is interest from Europe including that from Burnley FC, but Mamelodi Sundowns are not willing to let him go,

“He is one player that they can fight to keep at all cost. They know the value he brings to the team and the squad and both management and the technical team are happy with his contribution to the team.

“That’s why they want to hold onto him despite the interest from Europe.”

Appollis and Matuludi to Pirates

Recent reports believe that Orlando Pirates signing of Polokwane pair Oswin Appollis and Thabang Matuludi is all but complete with teams only able to announce signings once the summer transfer window opens.

“Orlando Pirates are close to signing Oswin Appollis and Thabang Matuludi from Polokwane City. #UNPLAYABLE can reveal that the deal could be concluded before the end of this week,” a source confirmed.
