Actress Lerato Mvelase alerts fans to fake TikTok account
South African actress Lerato Mvelase has cautioned her fans about a TikTok account impersonating her.
Sharing a screenshot of the fraudulent account, which has amassed over 13,000 followers, Lerato took to Instagram to clarify that she has no connection to it.
“Guys, this is not me on @tiktok_southafrica 🙏🏾. This person is pretending to be me,” she wrote.
Fans expressed frustration over the impersonation, condemning those deceiving her supporters.
Many followers assured Lerato that they would act quickly by reporting the fake account to TikTok.
“I will reportand get it removed my love @lerato_mvelase ungaqheplwa please, angifuni ngawe,” a follower commented.
