Businesswoman, author and musician, Duduzile Ngwenya popularly known as Lady Du has recently sparked debate on social media platforms with a recent video that she shared on her Instagram page.

In the video, the Catalia hitmaker offered driving lessons to her staff member in her personal car. The aim was to inspire and allow her to see herself in a car that she could own one day, she shared.

Lady Du is a renowned businesswoman, who runs Wawa La Beauty- a 5-star beauty hair salon located in KwaThema, Springs. The prolific amapiano artist who also owns a record label aimed to mentor the youth, recently took to her Instagram page to share the clip of her staff member learning to drive in her personal car.

In her caption, she urged people to change other people’s perspectives about life when they can.

“One of the biggest lessons in my journey of life, is always putting people before material things, today I took one of my staff members for a drive we were teaching her how to drive, and we did it in my personal car, I knew she’d be scared to bump it but the real catch here is getting to see herself in a car she can own one day,” she penned.

Instagram users took turns to praise her good gesture in the comment section.

“You’re such an inspiration Sisi, uThixo akwandisele (may God bless you in abundance),” said another user.

Another one said: “The world needs more leaders like you, bless you.”

The controversy ensued when some X (formerly Twitter) users noticed how she was holding a steering wheel, which led to them doubting that the lady could not drive. While some pointed out that the lady was not wearing her safety belt.
