Khanyi Mbau has given her social media followers the first glimpse of her face after undergoing extensive plastic surgery in September.

KHANYI MBAU SHARES A LOOK AT ‘ASIAN FACE’

In several Instagram Stories, Khanyi Mbau recounted her journey through her latest round of plastic surgery procedures, which included a fox eye and lip lift and an upper blepharoplasty.

In a clip, the mother-of-one is seen going for a post-surgery follow-up in a designer red two-piece suit.

According to the 38-year-old, the healing stage was long and painful. For weeks, the Young, Famous, and African star hid her swollen, bruised, and bloodied face behind bandages and a mask she likened to that worn by “Zorro.”

Slowly, she and her partner began to see a glimpse of the results, but they weren’t what they expected.

She shared: “I spent months showing him what my procedure was going to look like, but I don’t think it registered until he met Mbau Li Chong.

“I was stressed because I kept seeing this Asian woman in the mirror. And she was not resting.”

As time progressed, Khanyi Mbau started wearing gel masks and then finally, letting her face breathe.

However, she still joked about “looking Chinese”.
