Kanye West has once again made headlines-this time for storming out of a fiery interview with British broadcaster Piers Morgan.

The interview, meant to be a deep dive into Ye’s recent controversies, barely got off the ground before it crashed and burned.

Piers Morgan, never one to shy away from a challenge, opened the conversation by addressing Ye as ‘West.’

Morgan tried to steer the interview towards Ye’s public image and social media antics. He noted, “You’ve got 32 million followers, so you’re one of the most followed people.”

KANYE WEST GETS MAD

Ye interrupted, bristling, “Now, look, right now you’re not going to take inches off me bro. Like, how many followers do I have?”

Morgan’s team quickly corrected the number to 33 million, but the damage was done. Kanye West, never one to mince words, compared himself to music legends.

“I’m a gift, bro. I mean, why do all you people in media act like you haven’t played my songs at your weddings or graduations or at funerals” he asked, clearly frustrated.

MORGAN TRIES TO REGAIN CONTROL

Morgan, bemused, tried to regain control, but Ye was having none of it. “Now you are not taking accountability or responsibility… No sir, this is what you get for now.

We can circle back when you can count,” Ye declared, ripping off his mic and walking out, according to Daily Mail.

Morgan was quick to share his side on social media, posting a picture of Ye moments before he “stomped off like a big baby.”

He didn’t hold back, calling Kanye West “a snivelling, little coward, and an antisemite and a Hitler worshipper”.

The British host said he wanted to ask tough questions about Ye’s history of antisemitic comments and controversial social media posts, but never got the chance.

The spectacle of two big egos clashing, each refusing to back down, is something that resonates far beyond the UK or the US.

As one online commentator put it, “Why should he endure insults from you simply because you disagree with his perspective? Who do you think you are?”
