Kaizer Chiefs to beat Pirates to Pitso?

Kaizer Chiefs’ Nasreddine Nabi is walking on thin ice, eking out lacklustre results.

The Glamour Boys lie recklessly eighth on the log, four points ahead of twelfth-placed Gallants, insinuating MTN8 qualification to be hanging in the balance. Missing the top eight will almost certainly end to his career in Soweto.

The Nedbank Cup is Nabi’s last chance at silverware this season, but they will have to overcome arguably South African soccer’s biggest test: Mamelodi Sundowns.

Club legend wants Pitso

If MTN8 qualification alludes Kaizer Chiefs, former wingback Tsepo Masilela believes Pitso Mosimane should be Nabi’s immediate replacement, saying, “It’s a result driven business , if you’re doing bad, you’re thinking if we finish outside the top eight, with no trophy, what do we do?

“As management you have to make decisions. It is in their minds (whether Nabi should stay),” Masilela continued on SoccerBeat.

“You have coaches like Pitso who are available and you’re thinking, if it happens they get rid of Nabi, maybe we should go all in for coach Pitso because he’s someone who have a proven track record. We know what he has done, he knows the local game and has down wonders.

“There could be clauses that we don’t know, that if you don’t reach top eight… I think they should see out the season, sit down, reflect and make big decisions, because big decisions have to be made.”

What should Kaizer Chiefs do?
