Kaizer Chiefs seem to be in the front running to sign Bafana Bafana and Chippa United star Sinoxolo Kwayiba.
The 24-year-old midfielder has impressed this season scoring two goals in 10 matches so far in the league. The Chippa star has caught the attention of Orlando Pirates but before that, Kwayiba was linked with SuperSport United.
Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly joined the race to sign the Bafana midfielder and may be leading the race. According to Soccer Laduma, Amakhosi might make a deal with the Chilli Boys to swap Christian Saile with Kwabiya.
Kaizer Chiefs to get Bafana star in swap deal?
“Chiefs have shown interest and he could be part of the deals involving two clubs. With Saile expected to move to Chippa from Chiefs, there could be a swap deal if all goes according to plan,” a source told the publication.
If all goes to plan, Chiefs and Chippa can also make another swap deal. Amakhosi were linked with Stanely Nwabali but instead bought Fiacre Ntwari from TS Galaxy. The 25-year-old Rwandan international has struggled since joining the Naturean-based side.
Another player Kaizer Chiefs are looking to sign is Bafana Bafana winger Oswin Appollis. The 23-year-old has been linked with the Soweto giants for close to a year but it seems Polokwane City are not keen to sell him to a local club.
Should Chiefs sign Kwayiba or go for Appollis and Salum?
