Kaizer Chiefs will be doing everything in their power to ensure their fortunes improve in the league next season.
Despite winning the Nedbank Cup, Chiefs finished outside the top eight for a second consecutive campaign.
Chiefs set for squad revamp
There have been quite a few attackers linked with Chiefs going into the next season. This as a sign of what they’re trying to fix in the final third. Amakhosi have seen the likes of Fiston Mayele, Etiosa Ighodaro, Robert Polievka mentioned as strikers. In the wingers department Oswin Appollis, Elias Mokwana, Mihlali Mayambela and Keletso Makgalwa have been touted. There have been talks of Chiefs adding playmakers to their squad such as Feisal Salum, Rowan Human and Sipho Mbule.
So far, it is the defensive players that Chiefs are heavily linked with and thought to have signed. The likes of Thabiso Monyane, Paseka Mako, Aphiwe Baliti and Ime Okon. According to reports, Amakhosi have been able to convince Salum to sign courtesy of persistence by coach Nasreddine Nabi. The Tanzanian has also been teasing fans on his social media about going the club.

After that, Baliti was widely tipped to be the first signing for Chiefs, arriving from SuperSport United. Okon who will be available as a free agent as well, is also of massive interest to the Soweto giants. His deal could be wrapped up following the ongoing COSAFA Cup.
