Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari has sent a message to Rwanda after last week’s double disappointments.

FIACRE NTWARI INJURED

After arriving from TS Galaxy and starting all Kaizer Chiefs games this season, Ntwari suffered an injury while playing for Rwanda against Nigeria on Monday. The Amakhosi medical team will examine the 25-year-old from Gisozi before revealing the injury’s extent.

Meanwhile, the Kaizer Chiefs number one sent a spirited message to his countrymen after failing to quality for the AFCON 2025.

“When there is effort, attitude and desire, nothing is impossible. Very proud of the team,” Ntwari said on his Insagram.

SUPERSPORT UNITED ANNOUNCE FORMER KAIZER CHIEFS STAR SAMIR NURKOVIC

SuperSport United have finally ended their striker search. Former Kaizer Chiefs star Samir Nurkovic will wear the blue colours of the three-time Premier Soccer League champions.

Following his shock exit from TS Galaxy, the 32-year-old Nurkovic has joined United on a one-and-half year deal, thanks to Bradley Grobelar’s long-term injury.

“SuperSport United FC is pleased to announce the signature of Serbian striker Samir Nurković on a one and-a-half year deal. Welcome home, Samir,” the club said.

RUMOUR: KAIZER CHIEFS RELEASE SIBONGISENI MTHETHWA

This story has been developing for a few weeks now. A new report claims that Kaizer Chiefs have released Sibongiseni Mthethwa.

The 30-year-old midfielder from Escourt, KwaZulu Natal, has not made any impression on coach Nasreddine Nabi. Without a single appearance on the bench this season, a source has told the Citizen that Kaizer Chiefs have released the former Stellenbosch FC star.

“A decision has been made to cut ties with Mthethwa, but because the club paid a lot of money to Stellenbosch when they signed him last year, they won’t release him for free,” an insider told the Citizen.

“They will put him on the transfer list and hopefully, they will get a buyer for him.

“He’s a quality player so I’m sure he won’t be short of suitors, but I don’t think Chiefs will get back the amount they spent on him when they bought him from Stellies. Remember, he was a Bafana player then and didn’t come cheap,” the source added on the Amakhosi jersey number 5.
