Kaizer Chiefs are not holding back on player recruitments.

Kaizer Chiefs are determined to kill two birds with one stone – by strengthening their squad whilst, weakening Orlando Pirates’.

Interestingly, Amakhosi reportedly signed this R10 million Bucs star. Thereafter, Chiefs continued their recruitment process with yet another outgoing Pirates player.

CHIEFS SECOND SIGNING SECURED?

Chiefs have reportedly secured their second signing already.

Ex-Pirates star, Thabiso Monyane is set to join the Glamour Boys, according to SABCSport.

“Former Orlando Pirates wing-back Thabiso Monyane is set to join Kaizer Chiefs after the expiry of his contract. Monyane, 25, is embarking on a new journey of his career, leaving the club where he was raised from the development structures, towards a new challenge at their Soweto rivals. SABC Sport broke the news last week that Amakhosi had been offered the chance to sign the player, and this website has it on good authority, a deal has been reached between the two parties,” the publication reported.

So, if these reports are true he could become Chiefs’ second signing. This, following their reported first signing of yet another outgoing Pirates player.

As reported on The South African, former Pirates player Paseka Mako has agreed to join Chiefs.

The former Bucs player agreed to personal terms with Amakhosi after they claimed the Nedbank Cup title on 10 October 2025.

“Pirates were keen to extend his stay at the club but believed (he had) already agreed terms with Kaizer Chiefs after the Nedbank Cup final in Durban,” the insider stated on KickOff.
