The 2024 Carling All Stars starting line-up that will face Magesi FC at Orlando Stadium has officially been announced.
The two teams will battle for the Carling Black Label Cup trophy on Saturday, 21 December 2024.
Kick-off is at 15:30.
As previously revealed, the criteria dictates that there be five DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) players and six PSL stars in the starting line-up.
Just one of the DDC players in this Carling All Stars team has already tasted topflight football, and it’s Asekho Tiwani.
It is also worth mentioning that Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates dominate this year’s Carling All Stars team with four players each.
And the four players from Chiefs are Aden McCarthy, Naledi Hlongwane, Gaston Sirino and Ashley du Preez.
Pirates will be represented in the Carling All Stars starting XI by Sipho Chaine, Mbekezeli Mbokazi, Jabulani Mokone and Relebohile Mofokeng.
The other three players in the starting XI are from Mamelodi Sundowns, and they are Tiwani, Grant Kekana and Bathusi Aubaas.
Pirates coach Jose Riveiro will lead the Carling All Stars team for the second successive season.
Last season, Riveiro led his charges to victory against then champions Stellenbosch FC.
