Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly eyeing Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns target Tshepang Moremi.

The pacey AmaZulu winger has been sensational for Usuthu this season. Valued at around R7 million, Moremi can be an asset if he signs for any of the three big teams. The 24-year-old has netted two goals this season in 21 league matches.

According to Soccer Laduma, Kaizer Chiefs have joined the race for Moremi and will battle out with Pirates and Sundowns.

“For now, what we can tell you is that Chiefs are set to table an offer for Tshepang (Moremi),” a source told the publication.

“They are serious about him and that’s why they want to table this offer for him. The team is looking at restructuring for next season, and Moremi is one of the players they are looking at bringing in.”

“There has been interest in Tshepang, and it’s not only from Chiefs or Pirates. Mamelodi Sundowns are also believed to be interested in him. However, the issue will be with AmaZulu, as they are not ready to release him unless the money is too good. You should know that AmaZulu also pay very well at the moment, the source told Soccer Laduma.

“So, it’s all up to AmaZulu even if Chiefs table the offer.”

Kaizer Chiefs have signed the most players this season amongst the big clubs followed by Sundowns and Pirates. The Glamour Boys are looking to improve their log standings and compete for top honours next season.
