Khune wants to play for two more years

Now a partner at Top Bet, 37-year-old Itumeleng Khune is still determined to continue his career as a player. This is according to SoccerLaduma:

“There have been clubs which have inquired about him though nothing really came up and now his representatives are looking at offering him to clubs which could be looking at signing a top-class, experienced goalkeeper. As I have said, he still wants to play until at least 40 years of age. You know goalkeepers are like fine wine. They mature with age. That’s where he is now,” the Siya source stated.

Final five fixtures of 2024 for Kaizer Chiefs

Amakhosi have a quintet of league matches remaining to close out what’s been an underwhelming 2024. That’s before they got unceremoniously dumped out of the Carling Knockout by Sundowns in a demoralising 4-0 defeat.
