Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will INVADE Polokwane this weekend as there will be no PSL matches for Soweto-based fans.
The two Soweto giants will play their league fixtures on Saturday – but, of course, against two different opponents.
These fixtures were initially penciled to kick-off at the same time but Chiefs had to move their kick-time to later that day.
And that’s to ensure that Polokwane fans enjoy as much of local football as possible without having to choose which match to attend.
KAIZER CHIEFS AND ORLANDO PIRATES IN POLOKWANE ON SATURDAY
Polokwane fans will first be treated to an exciting match between Polokwane City and Orlando Pirates at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
Rise and Shine will be aiming for nothing but revenge after losing 3-1 to the Buccaneers in the first round.
And then later on, Kaizer Chiefs will host TS Galaxy at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Kick-off is at 19:00.
For Chiefs and TS Galaxy, this is an encounter where both teams will be looking for nothing but three points.
The last meeting between the two sides ended in a 1-1 draw, and this was in December 2024 at Mbombela Stadium.
