Barely a year after their rumoured fallout, Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, best known as Scorpion Kings, have officially unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The two first made headlines in 2024 with their rumoured beef despite being friends and one of the best Amapiano duos in the country.
KABZA DE SMALL AND DJ MAPHORISA’S ALLEGED FALLOUT
At the time, the rumour mill made it known that Kabza De Small was unhappy with DJ Maphorisa’s Live seasons, where he often bragged about thrusting him into the limelight.
In March 2024, DJ Maphorisa took a swipe at fans for asking him about Kabza De Small whereabouts amid their rumoured fallout.
However, during the session, he revealed that Kabza had bought a house and had his studio.
DJ Maphorisa said, “Don’t you know he has his own house? He bought a house and has his studio. Am I supposed to be living for Kabza? Are you crazy?”
Responding to rumours of their alleged fallout in 2024, Kabza De Small said on Instagram that the “Scorpion Kings” were still friends.
“You guys are crazy. What would I be fighting with Phori for? He is my friend. I don’t know where you got this news. You guys want us to fight?” Kabza De Small said.
Almost a year later, the two have unfollowed each other, with Kabza De Small sharing cryptic social media posts about being disrespected.
After following each other on the picture-sharing app, Kabza De Small posted, “Beung too nice invites a lot of disrespect.”
BOOKINGS AND PERFORMING SEPARATELY
However, the publication has since noted that DJ Maphorisa has deleted all his photos with Kabza De Small from his Instagram account.
On the other hand, Kabza De Small has seemingly deleted most of his photos, with DJ Maphorisa leaving only a few.
The two are now taking bookings through their record labels, with DJ Maphorisa using Blaqboy Music and Kabza De Small using Piano Hub.
On the other hand, for now, the two are performing separately. Kabelo has been performing alone, just like DJ Maphorisa.
SOLO MUSIC PROJECTS
Kabza De Small seems to be pushing some works on his record label Piano Hub. Several tracks have been uploaded to the website since 2024.
