News of Khanye’s lobola has since thrust him into top trends, with many trying to connect the dots about his love life, which he has kept under wraps for years.
Confirmed reports have it that the former Kaizer Chiefs star sent his uncles and delegation to Padi’s home in Diepkloof, Soweto, for negotiations.
Speaking to the media, Khanye, who has fast become one of the most followed and controversial football analysts, confirmed that the negotiations went well.
A PROMISE KEPT
Surprisingly, the two have been together for over two decades and share three sons.
Over the years, Khanye has gushed over his wife and often says that she has improved his life. However, little is known about Padi since she has managed to keep herself away from the media.
MAKING HEADLINES
FALL FROM GLORY
However, his life on the fast lane took everything he had, including his successful career.
During the peak of his career, Khanye was not just an ordinary player but a poster boy for Kaizer Chiefs. He wowed many with his command of the game and flair.
At some point, he was dubbed the next big star from South Africa, but he failed to live up to the expectations.
Speaking about his string of accidents and woes, Junior Khanye seemingly blamed alcohol in one of his old interviews.
Speaking to the media in 2019, he said, “All the accidents I had, I was drunk. I don’t drink anymore. Touching alcohol would be a big mistake.”
He seemingly lost it all at some point, but he had his second chance in life and has been winning big.
BOUNCING BACK
A few years ago, he had a new lease on life and has been winning big since then. Now, the former Kaizer Chiefs star is an author, entrepreneur, and football academy owner.
The retired dribbling wizard has been vocal and scathing in criticising his former club, Kaizer Chiefs. He is also not shy about taking potshots at some of the best coaches in the country.
