Junior De Rocka ties the knot in a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony
DJ Junior De Rocka has taken a moment to reflect on his wedding day in a touching throwback post shared with his followers.
The heartfelt message accompanied a video from his wedding ceremony with his new wife, in which he expressed deep gratitude for finding a life partner who understands and respects his professional journey.
The DJ, who is also a father to Sbahle Mzizi, whom he shares with actress Ntando Duma, tied the knot in a traditional ceremony filled with love, culture, and family unity.
“Reminiscing about a day I will cherish for the rest of my life,” Junior began in his caption, emotionally recalling how his uncles led the traditional process of him marrying the woman he had long dreamed of.
He went on to thank his ancestors and family elders for praying for a wife like the one he now proudly calls his own.
He also praised his partner for supporting his demanding career and for bringing balance and peace into his life.
“Thank you for understanding my life of profession, for your respect, and for making me feel like a real man at home,” he wrote.
Junior acknowledged the challenges of maintaining a healthy marriage in today’s world but emphasized the importance of focusing on each other, silencing outside noise, putting God first, and honoring family values.
“If we both focus on us, mute the noise, put God first and respect our elders, who guard this path, I know we’ll survive any storm, together,” he shared.
The musician also extended his appreciation to his wife’s family, the Dladla clan, for welcoming him warmly and lovingly.
He promised to uphold their family name through how he treats their daughter.
“My family gained an amazing daughter, and always know your family also gained a son,” he added. “The way I’ll treat your daughter will reflect how much I respect and honour your family name.”
Meanwhile, Ntando Duma who is an ex to De Rocka tied the knot last year to Una Rams.
