Rachel Kolisi enjoyed a well-deserved getaway this weekend with her two children and Siya Kolisi’s sister, Liyema.

RACHEL TAKES A MUCH-NEEDED BREAK WITH HER KIDS

It’s been a few days since Siya and Rachel Kolisi publicly announced their divorce, and it seems as though it’s hard for them to fathom what they are going through. The pair was once dubbed one of Mzansi’s power couples, but that changed when they announced the end of their marriage.

This weekend, Rachel decided to trade in her divorce turmoil for serene beach scenery as she enjoyed a luxurious getaway with her children and Siya’s sister. The family went on a much-needed brief getaway to the Western Cape and stayed at the luxurious Perivoli Lagoon House.

A FRESH START

Siya’s sister drove them on the trip, and Rachel shared photos and videos of the vacation, giving her followers a sneak peek at the family getaway. She appreciated the stunning scenery and various activities in the secluded location.

Rachel said that this break was needed, particularly given her current situation. She also expressed her gratitude to the Perivoli Lagoon House for their hospitality.

“A weekend for the soul. I have a busy week ahead, so this was very needed. Thank you for having us @perivolilagoonhouse. PS we have a new driver in the house @mercedesbenzsa,” she wrote.

‘IT IS SO HARD’

On Saturday, the mother of two reflected on her highly-publicised split saying:

“This is so hard. I have genuinely been overwhelmed by kindness and love and I’m so grateful.
Fully committed to my healing journey. Peace is my portion,”
she wrote.
