Rapper Leslie Jonathan Mampe Junior famously known as Da L.E.S has been in better spirits since being discharged from hospital.

In July, the hip-hop star had been reported to have suffered a stroke right before his all-white birthday celebrations and since being discharged has been on the journey to recovery.

According to the news publication, TimesLIVE, Da L.E.S has been using a wheelchair where his family and friends have been visiting him. The above-mentioned source also adds that a statement was released by his team to give fans a health update as he and gone M.I.A for a while to focus on getting better.

The statement read, “He expresses deep gratitude for being alive, saying it’s truly a miracle, and thanks God for his strength. I owe it all to God, Da L.E.S is incredibly thankful for the outpouring of love, support and prayers from his fans, friends, and everyone who’s reached out,” adding, “He will continue to update everyone on his healing process and appreciates all the continued encouragement. Healing takes time, but he’s staying positive and focused on a full recovery.”

A recent image of Da L.E.S has been circulating online with his fellow industry friends Cassper Nyovest, Kabelo Mabalane, Maggz and L-Tido causing some internet to allude that the late AKA had been the problem even though it is more that in hip-hop cultures most beefs would be fabricated as a way to gain more traction.
