Former Generations star Sello Maake KaNcube and Pearl Mbewe are reportedly splitting.
SELLO MAAKE KANCUBE: ‘I AM DONE’
The legendary actor Sello Maake KaNcube reveals to TshisaLIVE that he lived a life of hell with Pearl Mbewe.
“I tried to make this marriage work in fear that people will judge me. I’ve been dealing with so much hell in this relationship. I am done. I want to get out of that marriage,” says Maake KaNcube.
The actor also reveals that Mbewe has driven him insane for the longest time. He’s never had joy in his life because she was trying to break him.
Maake KaNcube adds: “I have never been a problem in my marriage. My wife has been the problem. She was managing the social media. I was presented as someone who was happily married when actually I lived a life of hell.”
The publication adds that the actor served his wife with a protection order on Saturday.
PEARL MBEWE: ‘HE IS A JEALOUS MAN’
Sello Maake KaNcube’s wife Pearl Mbewe told the publication that she didn’t sign the protection order because she didn’t read it.
“How do I sign for something I haven’t read? I said I’m not signing sh*t. They gave me three protection orders with wrong people’s names. Then they gave me the third one with my name,” says Mbewe.
She also reveals: “He is a jealous man, he is controlling, he is a maniac. I’m the one who said to him, I need a breather.”
The pair who tied the knot in a lobola ceremony in 2021 have reportedly been living separately since July 2023.
Sunday World reported in March that Maake KaNcube reportedly approached Swanepoel van Zyl Attorneys to help him file for divorce.
It is reported Mbewe engaged with the same lawyers in October, requesting to complete and finalise the divorce.
This is Maake KaNcube’s second failed union after marrying Palesa Mboweni in 2015 and ending his marriage eight months later.
