Johannesburg streets were quiet as hundreds of exotic cars made their way to a recent Pharaoh Group car show.

The celebrated car dealership undoubtedly hosted one of the most successful luxury supercar shows in South Africa, with several of the world’s flashiest cars spotted in the mix.

WORLD’S FLASHIEST CARS TAKE OVER JOHANNESBURG

Could this be one of the biggest new motoring shows in the city?

Several videos and photos from the weekend event have flooded the internet, leaving many convinced that Johannesburg is the playground for the rich.

In one of the now viral videos, a convoy of colourful supercars that cost a fortune can be seen, from the famous Lamborghini Urus to the sleek Bentleys.

Celebrated influencer and content creator Kefilwe Mabote was also present, and she was spotted driving a sleek McLaren 650S Spider.

According to The Guardian, only 106 car units made it to the market. The 2016 McLaren 650s Spider has a base price tag of R3.7 million at Pharoah Group dealerships.

After all, she joins a host of celebrities who have taken part in car shows. Last year, Jojo Robinson was part of the Saxnomy Supercar Sunday motoring show of 2023, which brought Durban to a standstill.

A car enthusiast just like Kefilwe Mabote, Jojo Robinson showed up for the show with her sleek McLaren 570s.

Apart from the Lamborghinis and McLarens, several German automobiles were spotted at the show.

One of the cars that stole the attention of onlookers was a customised Mercedes-AMG G63 with a base price tag of R4.4 million in several dealerships nationwide.

Several BMWs also made it on the colourful convoy that brought Johannesburg to a standstill.

However, despite the recent successful car show, several of the world’s flashiest cars have been spotted around the country and often trend whenever they are posted.
