Whether you prefer cluster or individual lash extensions, it is important to know how to DIY certain things for your monthly maintenance as you can save a lot of money.

Just like any other type of lash extension, cluster lashes have become popular in the beauty industry.

According to beauty hub, False Eyelashes, cluster lash extensions are bulk-like lashes that are fixated on your eyelid with a measurement of 4-11 mm, adding that, they are not your typical lashes as they are used to enhance your natural lashes rather than being glued to them.

The beauty hub also mentions that these lashes are cheaper but do not last longer than your professional lashes from your monthly lash tech.

What you will need:

  • Bonder.
  • Sealer.
  • Eyelash tweezer.
  • False lash extension.

Here is a go-to DIY cluster lashes guide from Nanolash:

  1. Clean your natural lashes thoroughly.
  2. Apply the bonder on your cluster lashes and wait 15-20 seconds. The hub advises not to let the glue dry out for too long.
  3. Apply lashes underneath natural ones, keeping a 1 mm gap from the lash line, and make sure the cluster is well attached before going on to the next.
  4. Each time you apply a lash cluster and are satisfied with it, use the special applicator to press the lashes together. This corrects the styling and combines artificial and natural lashes.
@nabielashes Cluster Lash Tips: 1. Apply your cluster lashes 1-2mm away from your waterline. This ensures comfort as you blink and also prevents irritation which can cause teary eyes making them fall off faster. 2. Ensure the band/base of the cluster is properly secured. We recommend applying Bond to the band of the cluster lash for a stonger hold. Always press using the back of the tweezer to avoid getting bond on the side you are using to apply your lashes. 3. Always leave a small gap in the inner corner and outer corner lashes. Do not apply clusters on the short inner corner or outer corner lashes as it may cause lash breakage since they are small and weaker and could also make your lashes fall off easier since they are not strong enough. If you are a side sleeper, always leave a gap in the outer corners for obvious reasons. ##lashtip##lashhacks##clusterlashtips ♬ original sound – Nabie Lashes
