Former DA leader Helen Zille has joined the Cassper Nyovest Kusho Bani – or Hosh Karamaima – dance challenge.

The outspoken politician posted the entertaining clip on her TikTok account.

HELEN ZILLE DOES THE CASSPER NYOVEST DANCE CHALLENGE

On Friday, 21 March – Human Rights Day – the DA hosted a commemoration day to recognise the historical significance of the public holiday.

The DA highlighted several basic human rights that many South Africans lack – like access to clean drinking water.

But it was not all serious business. Helen Zille and other prominent party leaders took to the stage to sing and dance.

The woman fondly known as “Gogo Zille” even participated in the Cassper Nyovest Kusho Bani dance challenge. The song – known for its lyrics Hosh Karamaima – typically sees men showing off their beautiful wives. While Helen didnt exactly stick to the memo, she did have her followers thoroughly entertained with her two-step dance moves.

Helen Zille wasn’t the only fan favourite to dance to Cassper Nyovest’s track.

The tennis champion – who recently made a special cameo in Kendrick Lamar’s SuperBowl gig –  performed the Hosh Karaima bop alongside Kenyan influencer Achieng Agutu at Serena’s Wyn Beauty event.

The video has been viewed almost two million times on TikTok.
