Award-winning gospel singer Ntokozo Mbambo cancels her singing engagements to take a rest.
The former BONA cover star who was booked for her respective events will unfortunately not be able to attend them as according to a statement released by her management team, WYZ Media stated that she would be booked off.
Throughout her successful gospel career, Ntokozo started as a lead singer in Joyous Celebration at the age of 15 and has won several prestigious awards, including five South African Music Awards, six African Gospel Music and Media Awards, two Crown Gospel Music Awards, two Praise Achievement Awards, one Metro FM Music Award, and one Basadi in Music Award.
The statement reads, “On behalf of our artist, Ntokozo Mbambo, we confirm that she has recently been booked off for rest,” adding, “She has been committed to attending several engagements in the coming weeks, however, she is not in a position to honour them as she takes time to rest.”
Earlier this year Ntokozo also had the opportunity to perform the National Anthem for the first time for the Springboks in Durban where she captioned, “What an honour to have sung the South African national anthem for the first time for @bokrugby in my home town of Durban! It was surreal. Thank you Father for the many many blessings, amen!”
