Gayton McKenzie showered praises on President Cyril Ramaphosa following his Washington DC, visit.

There have been a few days of talk among South Africans as they waited to hear the outcome of the meeting.

Indeed, when the two presidents met, it seemed Ramaphosa did not impress most black South Africans.

Most had been calling him out across social media, but not the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture.

Gayton saw a different perspective and did not hide his admiration for Ramaphosa and his delegation.

GAYTON MCKENZIE PRAISES PRESIDENT RAMAPHOSA

Sharing on his X handle, McKenzie was ready to take all the negative words from angry South Africans.

“Thanks for resetting our relationship with America, Mr. President. You handled this meeting like a true boss,” he started.

“You made many of us very proud to be South African.” he continued, showing his joy.

“Let the haters hate, and the Patriots be Patriotic. Thanks also to your whole delegation.” he finished thanking the delegation.

Indeed, what Gayton said did not please most of the South Africans who responded to his post.

SOME SOUTH AFRICANS DISAGREE

After Gayton McKenzie praised President Ramaphosa and his delegation, some people disagreed.

@BigDlamz “This was embarrassing to watch. A head of state should never be treated this way.”

@TheKiffness “Weird how politicians change their tunes when they become MPs, lol.”

@Prof_Zigmeister “When you shake another man’s hand, you must look them straight in the eye. You use one hand with a firm grip. Unless you’re praying to God, you close your eyes & now your head with nothing hands together. 🙏”

@camjongun14236 “He got embarrassed and exposed for endorsing white farm murders, and it became apparent that Trump knew much more than him what goes on in his own country.”
