Gayton calls out ‘silent’ white South Africans about ‘genocide lie’

Gayton McKenzie has called out “complicit” white South Africans who have not disputed the narrative of a “white genocide” in the country.

The Minister of Sport, Art and Culture has been vocal about his opinions of diplomatic tensions between the US and SA.

The “misinformation” has been spread by Pretoria-born billionaire Elon Musk and US President Donald Trump, who has accused the country of “racial discrimination.”

Trump has since issued an Executive Order granting Afrikaners refugee status in the US.

GAYTON MCKENZIE CRITICISES ‘COMPLICIT’ WHITE PEOPLE

Speaking in a recent public address, Minister Gayton McKenzie denounced claims made by Elon Musk and President Trump. He also criticised white South Africans for not setting the record straight.

He said: “Every white person knows that there is no genocide in South Africa. Your silence makes you complicit in that lie. Speak up, like Mandela spoke up.

He added: “President Donald Trump has said South Africa is a very bad country…that isn’t right. He doesn’t have a right to accuse of genocide”.

Gayton’s comments come amid Elon Musk’s tweet about his country of birth. This week, the world’s richest man tweeted: “The legacy media never mentions white genocide in South Africa because it doesn’t fit their narrative that whites can be victims.”

In another, he referred to EFF leader Julius Malema’s singing of the struggle song Kill The Boer over the weekend.

He posted: “Very few people know that there is a major political party in South Africa that is actively promoting white genocide… A whole arena chanting about killing white people.”

He continued: “Where is the outrage? Why is there no coverage by the legacy media?

NO ‘WHITE GENOCIDE’ SAYS AFRIKANER RIGHTS ORG

Last month, Gayton McKenzie questioned AfriForum CEO Kallie Kriel about claims that there is a “white genocide” in South Africa.

Kriel – who is accused of treason – led a delegation to the US to appeal for help for white South Africans.

He said: “We never said [there is a white genocide], but there is a serious problem.”

He added: “Genocide is what we see in Rwanda.”

AfriForum spokesperson Ernst van Zyl shared similar sentiments on The Penuel Show podcast last year.

He said: “There is no white genocide in South Africa. That is not the reality. We have never said that”.
