Orlando Pirates are targeting the signatures of four players currently playing for their PSL rivals.

Orlando Pirates have overtaken Kaizer Chiefs in the race for this R23-million target.

Meanwhile, the Bucs are interested in red-hot Bafana Bafana star and two top PSL talents.

PIRATES INTERESTED IN QUARTET OF STARS IN THE PSL

Pirates are now the frontrunners for Stellenbosch FC defender, Fawaaz Basadien. Meaning, they have leapfrogged Chiefs in the bid for the talented defenders, according to SNL.

Furthermore, Pirates are planning to replace Innocent Maela with Basadien. According to Transfermarkt, he is valued at roughy R23 million (€1,20 million).

Thus, making him the Bucs most expensive transfer target.

Meanwhile, Chiefs and Pirates are still in a race for Polokwane City and Bafana Bafana speedster, Oswin Appollis’ signature.

However, at the time of publication, Soweto rivals, Chiefs are the side more likely to secure his signature.

BUCS DETERMINED TO BUILD SQUAD DEPTH
