Siya Kolisi has received mixed reactions after enabling comments on one of his Instagram posts.
The rugby player has been in the spotlight since revealing that he and his wife, Rachel Kolisi, are getting a divorce. The announcement of their divorce sent shockwaves across the country, with many calling it the most famous divorce involving a South African rugby couple to date.
The Springbok captain had turned off comments on his Instagram after the shocking announcement to silence the noise, but he has now enabled them. On Saturday afternoon, Kolisi shared a Bible verse emphasising the importance of trusting God during difficult times.
“Proverbs 3:5-6. 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight,” he captioned the post.
His posts encouraged both positive and spicy comments, with some expressing sympathy for his divorce while others criticised him.
