Popular rugby player Elton Jantjies, who played for the Springboks is allegedly homeless.

Jantjies reportedly became homeless when he got kicked out of his Bryanston home after failing to pay his monthly bond.

According to media reports, the rugby player’s bad habits have allegedly caught up with him, and his friends and family can’t help him anymore.

ELTON JANTJIES: WITHOUT A HOME?

Sources close to Elton Jantjies tell Zimoja that the former Springbok first lived with his mother then got kicked out by his former friend.

The 34-year-old reportedly reached out to retired rugby player Ruan Smith, who is his old school friend when he had nowhere to go.

However, Smith allegedly got tired of Jantjies when “he got back to his old habits”.

The source adds: “He can’t stay out of trouble. Jantjies would have sex workers over and they would do drugs.”

SPRINGBOK FRIEND CONFIRMS RUMOURS?

The source also reveals that Ruan Smith noticed Elton Jantjies was drinking non-stop and played loud music throughout the night.

“Ruan is a businessman and could not tolerate the partying and having girls and strangers in his home every day,” says the source. 

Another source reveals that Smith kicked Jantjies out of his home as he feared for his safety and felt his phones have been hacked by Jantjies and his new friends.

The retired rugby player, Ruan Smith confirmed to the publication that Jantjies stayed with him but couldn’t divulge more information.

He also made headlines this year when the Randburg Magistrates Court granted his ex-girlfriend, Ashleigh Ogle a permanent protection order against him.

The South African reached out to Jantjies for a comment on Tuesday, 22 October.
