Teenage star Sechaba Gaseitsiwe has attracted interest from PSL clubs following his stellar displays at the 2024 Engen Champ of Champs.

The 17-year-old’s good performances at the Engen Champ of Champs did not go unnoticed. He was named the Forward of the Tournament.

Gaseitsiwe, a winger, is currently part of the amateur team Galeshewe Stars in the Northern Cape, where he is developing his football skills and making a name for himself.

The young prodigy is known for his deceptive manoeuvres to outwit opponents. He also possesses strong passing skills and excels in delivering set pieces.

His satisfying performances at the Engen tournament were enough to grab the attention of some big clubs in the Betway Premiership.

WHICH PSL CLUBS HAVE SHOWN INTEREST IN SECHABA GASEITSIWE’S SERVICES?

Seven PSL clubs, including Mamelodi Sundowns, Cape Town City FC, Sekhukhune United, Kaizer Chiefs, TS Galaxy, Orlando Pirates, and Stellenbosch FC, have shown interest in the skilled winger after impressive performances at the Engen tournament.

This publication went on to reach out to the player’s agent, Nduvho Munyai from P Management. He confirmed the interest from the clubs mentioned above for his client.

“The boy is a very special talent, one of the top players in his age group. He is a raw talent that comes from the Northern Cape. Another thing is that he has been in a very good set-up in Galeshewe Stars,” Munyai told FARPost.

“He had a brilliant Engen tournament where we scouted him. A versatile winger that can play on both ends and is one that should be protected.

“We have gotten quite a handful of offers. So, we have been in meetings with a few of these clubs. We had meetings with teams like Stellenbosch, Mamelodi Sundowns, Sekhukhune, Cape Town City and waiting for others to send concrete proposals.”

It’s only a matter of time before the youngster completes his dream to one of the Betway Premiership sides.
