WHAT ELVIS CHIPEZEZE SAID ABOUT ZIMBABWEAN POSSIBLE RETURN

The 34-year-old stated he is always prepared for the national team selection whenever the coach requires his services, including his fellow countryman Edmore Chirambadare, who has been performing well for Magesi.

“Well, when the opportunity comes, and the coach says he needs the boys to come, we are ready,” said Chipezeze in Polokwane.

“Like I said, when the time is right, we are just going to go there and make the nation proud because everyone wants to represent their country. If the chance comes, then we have to grab it with both hands and see where it takes us.”

The Warriors will take on Kenya in their upcoming 2025 AFCON qualifiers tie on Friday, 15 November 2024, at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium, with kick-off set for 18:00.

The last time the two sides met in the first-leg in September this year, they played out to a 0-0 draw at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.
