South Africa-born Elon Musk continues to widen his lead at the top of the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List.

The Forbes Real Time Billionaires is a daily ranking of the richest people in the world.

Elon Musk leads the way ahead of the co-founder of Oracle Corporation, Larry Ellison

Following in third place is the founder and CEO of Amazon, Jeff Bezos.

The rest of the top 10, in order, are Mark Zuckerberg, Bernard Arnault, Warren Buffet, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Amancio Ortega and Jensen Huang.

Elon Musk’s dogecoin jumped

Musk has blown past the $300 billion mark and, at the time of publishing, his net worth stands at a whopping $334.3 billion.

Not so long ago he trailed Bernard Arnault in the rankings.

However, Musk now stands a staggering $176 billion ahead of the LVMH founder.

Musk’s cryptocurrency dogecoin soared after Donald Trump’s recent US election win, while his Tesla shares also saw double-digit increases.

Meanwhile, Trump is the 575th-richest person in the world with $5.6 billion.
