Elon Musk’s father, Errol, has claimed that his son “lied” about his wealthy upbringing, including his knowledge of their dealings in an emerald mine in Zambia. The 78-year-old South African businessman made the revelation in the latest episode of Podcast and Chill.

Elon – who is the world’s wealthiest man – is one of seven children fathered by Errol. He grew up in Pretoria, before relocating to Canada and later the US.

ERROL MUSK ON DEALING WITH EMERALDS

Speaking to MacG – real name Macgyver Mukwevho – from the comfort of his Cape Town home, Errol Musk spilled the tea on everything related to raising his firstborn, Elon.

This includes revealing that his son – now the world’s wealthiest man – as well as his siblings Kimbal and Tosca grew up in a comfortable and affluent environment. This included travelling by luxury cars and private jets and living in mansions in Sandton, Pretoria, and Durban.

Errol claimed he made most of his fortune through his engineering consulting firm and property development.

DO YOU THINK ELON MUSK – OR DAD ERROL IS TELLING THE TRUTH?
