  • EFF MP threatens to expose private videos of MK party’s Floyd Shivambu
  • The fight started after former EFF chair Dali Mpofu joined the MK party.

Two politicians from rival parties are publicly airing each other’s secrets as they threaten to expose each other online.

An EFF Member of Parliament has threatened to share private messages and videos of MK party organiser Floyd Shivambu that allegedly caused his marriage to end.

The online clash began when Shivambu claimed he had MP Sinawo Thwala’s signed letter of resignation from the EFF.

“So you want us to produce your signed resignation letter from the EFF, CCT and Parliament or the resolution to remove you from structures? You want to cry again?” Shivambu wrote.

Thwala responded, daring Shivambu to show the letters and warning him that he also had dirt on him.

“Release such signed letters if they exist. Don’t make threats ngelinye ilanga! I screenshotted your threat when you text us drunk at 2am before you deleted it by the way,” Thwala posted on X.

The argument escalated on Wednesday when Thwala said he could ruin Shivambu’s reputation if Shivambu continued to shame him.

“Once you are done, we will release the text messages between you and Johann Rupert and the videos with concubines which led to your divorce! Let’s go, baba,” Thwala said.

Following this personal attack, Shivambu went quiet as Thwala and EFF student members continued to challenge him.

This dispute comes after Dali Mpofu left the EFF to join the MK party.

Meanwhile, EFF leader Julius Malema has claimed that Mpofu and Jacob Zuma tried to persuade him to join the EFF with Zuma’s project, which turned out to be the MK.

Malema said Zuma asked leaders of various black political parties to join him in creating a new party to challenge the ANC’s power.
